Life Is Short
Life is short. We are not promised tomorrow, we are not promised the next minute. What you choose to do with your time is completely up to you but this is what I suggest:
Above all, serve God. He is eternal, he is our promise. No matter how long or short your life may be, God will be there – even in the end.
Make memories. Take pictures, laugh, and enjoy your family and friends. Make all the memories that you can.
Let the bad things go. No matter what this life throws at you, if it’s bad or it hurts you – let it go. Forgive those who do you wrong and move on. At the end of the day, your peace with God is more important than anything in this life.
Don’t be afraid to separate yourself. Sometimes our peace can be disrupted due to people that aren’t the best for us. Make your peace with them and separate yourself. It’s okay to focus on your peace and on living for God, everyone and everything is not always good for you.
Lastly, find the beauty in the small things. Allow yourself to be so wrapped up in the simple things that all you can see is the beauty that God has created. That is the true peace that you need.
